Just a couple of snaps from our hike this weekend on a part of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail we hadn't yet seen.

Great photos! Did you use a polarizing filter? I'm keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a wide angle lens. How do you like your Tokina?

The photos are beautiful. I can only imagine how beautiful the area is in person.

Thanks, guys.

Alan, I normally do use one outdoors but in this case the lens was naked. I've been extremely happy with the Tokina, my only complaint has been for more light and recently Tokina answered that by announcing the 11-16mm f/2.8. It's not available in the US yet but I've been keeping my eye out for reviews...if they are favorable I'll sell the 12-24 for the 11-16.

John, if you find yourself out this way just say they word and I'll show you around the place!
