Funny story, I met the editor while I was taking photos for my This Is Their Place portrait/interview project. She was interested in what I was doing, we exchanged business cards and the rest is history!

I'd love to see more of your lighting recommendations. I'd love to know "how to start" with portrait lighting, it all seems so complicated and expensive. And strobist dude is like "too intense" I want the lighting for cheap dummies. :)
We should chat about this soon.
FYI, the magazine these are featured in was just published and they look great!
