Framed
Today I framed and presented three of my drive-bys to a local (Provo, UT) gallery for a juried exhibition. The prints are 16x20, the frames are suck-ass Ikea Ribba frames, which I will never, ever, never, ever buy again.

Photowalking Salt Lake City event on studio lighting
Today I met the great folks from the Photowalking Salt Lake City group for an indoor event on using studio lighting. 70+ people attended a local Church where 8 studios were created - with models - so that experts could share their gear and expertise with those of us new to lighting. It was a wonderful event, for not only to being able to try out so many different setups but also meet to many friendly and helpful photographers.
I shot the portrait above through a ringlight, which is something I'd been looking forward to trying out as it produces such a distinctive effect. I can't swing buying the real deal right now but I'm going to try hacking together a ghetto version with a circular lighting fixture with a daylight-balanced florescent bulb.
Here are some other portraits I made with other studio gear:
And here are a few behind-the-scenes shots of the event - the full photoset is over at my Flickr account:
