Nikon D700
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
[Part of my "Drive-By Shootings" street photography series]
This is my first drive-by with my new Nikon D700; I switched from the venerable Sigma 30mm f/1.4 to the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 for this series as the Sigma was too wide of a field of view and, as it's designed for crop-sensored (DX) cameras, vignettes too much.
More to come...hopefully one day in the form of a show. :)

i always visualize you dead in your auto with your camera hanging out when you mention these drive by shootings. sort of a photographer crashed trying to photograph in a drive by, only to be photographed themselves. morbid yes. a great photo of a photo shooter. yes indeed.
I just love these drive by shootings... the whole series is great.
Take care,
zed: you have just given me a fantastic idea for a self-portrait! Maybe one to use to promote the series? Hmm...
JR: Thanks!
