I don't own but have rented Nikon's 70-200 f/2.8 a couple of times (for assignments) and did like it for those occasions when you need that extra reach.

Nikon's 35mm f/2 is a great lens but my copy suffers from a well-known fault of oily aperture blades and as such I don't use it as much as I'd like. I'm planning on fixing it myself (Nikon Repair would not fix it) until the rumored Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 replacement is released.

My 70-200 f/2.8L IS and Sigma 10-20 get the most use. I just picked up the Canon 50 mm f/1.4 and 35 mm f/2 and have been enjoying them for the last month or so.
